Apartment Leasing Agent - Experienced

<Responsibilities>

  • Engage with prospective tenants through phone calls, in-person tours, and digital communication to promote available apartments and community amenities.
  • Conduct thorough property showings, highlighting features and benefits to facilitate lease agreements.
  • Manage leasing documentation accurately using Yardi or OneSite property management software, including contracts, applications, and legal paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws during all leasing activities.
  • Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving tenant concerns or disputes swiftly while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of leasing activities, tenant files, and maintenance requests.
  • Upsell additional community services or upgrades to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.

<Experience>

  • Proven experience in property leasing within a property management or real estate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, negotiation, and contract management to close leases effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle office tasks including data entry, filing, and phone etiquette confidently.
  • Experience in legal administrative procedures related to leasing agreements and property operations.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
