Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to complete maintenance work orders, assist with unit turns, and help ensure the property is well-maintained and in good working order. You’ll play a key role in keeping our residents satisfied by responding quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and upkeep needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance work orders in apartments and common areas
• Repair basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
• Perform appliance repairs and replacements
• Assist with painting, drywall patching, and minor carpentry
• Help with apartment turnovers, including cleaning and repair tasks
• Maintain property grounds, including trash pickup and basic landscaping
• Conduct seasonal and preventative maintenance (e.g., filters, smoke detectors, inspections)
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance or repair experience (apartment or residential preferred)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• HVAC certification a plus but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
