Bear Real Estate Group is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician II to support our stunning, brand-new development, The Intersect located in Madison, WI. You will work amongst a team of professionals within a beautiful development with premium amenities.
The Maintenance Technician II is role responsible for handling more complex maintenance tasks, advanced diagnostics, and specialized repairs. This role provides leadership support by mentoring Technician I staff, overseeing turnovers, and managing preventative maintenance programs. The Technician II works with greater independence and serves as a technical resource within the community.
Key Responsibilities

Perform all routine maintenance tasks typical of Maintenance Technician, including painting, minor plumbing and electrical work, basic appliance repairs, minor HVAC repairs, turnovers, and maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal.

Diagnose and repair moderate-to-complex issues in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.

Perform and oversee preventative maintenance programs across building systems.

Lead and complete detailed unit turnovers, ensuring high quality and timeliness.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to technicians and staff.

Assisting managing larger projects such as system upgrades, renovations, or capital improvements.

Participate in collecting bids for repairs and projectsup to $5,000; provide recommendations to the Property Manager.

Conduct and document thorough inspections of units and building systems.
