API Banking - Agile Business Lead Product Manager / Product Owner

The Agile Business Lead Product Manager / Product Owner will be the single point of contact from GTB Channels team for API Banking Solutions across Cash Management (Payments, Collections, Virtual Accounts, FX and Accounts). This role will also be responsible for leading strategic solutions, customer handling, platform requirements, design, development, and management of end-to-end API solutions for corporate customers.

The Agile BA-Channel’s SPOC should also be able to support with Sales, Advisory for Strategic Client deals, solutions, market research, RFP, Product development and to help evaluate multiple products available globally / locally and identify right one for the Bank. The Agile BA-Channel’s SPOC is also expected to have leadership skills and should be able to step into Pre-Sales solutions where needed

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as Product Manager / Product Owner / Business Lead.
• Proven domain expertise in API banking and rollout experience from leading banks will be considered a mandatory requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years in building solutions for API Banking and Cash Management.
• Must have experience in Customer focussed API Documentation.
• Must have experience in building Developer Portal for enhanced API adoption.
• Must has experience in defining, monitoring API performance for benchmarking and scaling.
• Must have good understanding of API Authentication and standardizing API requests & responses.
• Must have experience in working with Sales / Pre-sales / Client Advisory teams for API solutions and Cash Management RFPs’.
• Must have experience in working with Global or Regional Banks in UAE/Middle East.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Cash Management solutions at least in 4 of these areas - Payments, Collections, Virtual Accounts, FX, Accounts Management, Liquidity and Treasury.
• Must have experience in participating in RFP/RFI processes for selecting an Enterprise Level API Banking solution / Cash Management Solutions for Banks/Financial Institutions.
• Must have experience in preparing Business cases, RFP, Use Cases, User Journeys.
• Must have experience in tracking project milestones, prepare status reports to present at Management Level.
• Must have minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering / finance / management / computer science.
• Should have experience in ERP / Host to Host Implementations.
• Experience with Open Finance / Open Banking / FinTech will be an added advantage.
• Experience with previous Enterprise level project deliveries for Cash Products - Payments, Cash Flow Forecast, Liquidity, TMS, Direct Debits will be an added advantage.
• Certifications in API Banking, CSPO, CBAP, CSM will be an added advantage.
