API Integration Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an API Integration Engineer to join a leading organization in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions and APIs across multiple business systems and platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in middleware technologies, API development, system integrations, and enterprise application integration (EAI) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between enterprise applications.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP APIs.
• Build and maintain system-to-system integrations.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in production environments.
• Participate in deployment, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization activities.
• Work closely with business users, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and integration specifications.
• Support digital transformation and integration initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in API development or enterprise integrations.
• Experience with one or more integration technologies such as:
• webMethods
• WSO2
• MuleSoft
• IBM API Connect
• Apigee
• TIBCO
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Similar middleware/integration platforms
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, XSD and API integrations.
• Experience with API security concepts including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience in Banking, Telecom, Government, Enterprise, or Large-scale Digital Projects is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API Gateway technologies.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
• Cloud integration experience is a plus.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED11,500.00 per month
