Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join the Interventional and Structural Cardiology team, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care of complex cardiac patients.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Four 10-hour shifts (variable days)
Practice Setting
Inpatient and outpatient cardiology
High-acuity population, including ICU-level and post-procedural cardiac patients
Collaboration with Interventional and Structural Heart teams
Qualifications
NPs are required to have acute care certification
Cardiovascular experience preferred, particularly in inpatient or high-acuity settings

Duties: APP - Cardiology (Interventional/Structural)
Provide comprehensive care to individuals and families with cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting for medical patients. Evaluate for emergent medical conditions including ACS, STEMI, life threatening arrhythmias, and cardiogenic shock. Diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses in collaboration with a designated supervising physician. Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic medical and/or surgical procedures.
