About Us

Nextgen Charge is an established EV home charger installation company operating in the UK and expanding into Dubai, UAE. We design, supply, and install smart residential EV chargers and are now developing a dedicated mobile application to support our charging hardware and customers.

We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to lead the development of our EV charging application for iOS and Android.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the Nextgen Charge mobile app, which will connect to our smart EV chargers and provide customers with a seamless charging experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing EV company at an early stage and shape our digital ecosystem from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS and Android applications
• Integrate app with EV chargers (WiFi/Bluetooth/OCPP APIs)
• Build features including:
• Charger control (start/stop charging)
• Real-time charging status
• Energy usage tracking
• User authentication & account management
• Scheduling & smart charging
• Work closely with hardware and backend teams
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability
• Prepare app for App Store & Google Play submission

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in:
• Flutter / React Native OR native iOS (Swift) & Android (Kotlin)
• API integration experience (RESTful APIs)
• Experience with IoT device integration
• Knowledge of:
• OCPP protocol (preferred but not essential)
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Firebase / Azure)
• Experience with real-time data handling
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with EV charging systems
• Experience developing IoT or hardware-connected apps
• Knowledge of energy monitoring systems
• UI/UX design understanding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
