This unique practice model allows the APP to care for employees and covered dependents of local industries, creating an ideal opportunity for a PA/NP who enjoys a blend of primary care and urgent care in a relationship‑driven environment.
Position Highlights:
- Enjoy a consistent four‑day schedule—no weekends, no call.
- Primary clinic locations: Southern Pines and Sanford.
- Part‑time scheduling option available
- Autonomous practice environment suited for seasoned professionals comfortable practicing independently.
- Perform pre‑placement, routine, and exit physical examinations for employees.
- Provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents, and management of work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
- Advise employees on workplace health, safety, and injury‑prevention strategies.

- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
- Minimum 3 years of APP experience required, prior Occupational Health experience preferred.
- Other preferred qualifications include background in workers comp, working at employer sites, experience conducting veteran exams and/or NC disability exams.
- Must have a clean background, NC licensure, and NC DEA.
- DOT certification, and AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
- CAOHC and NIOSH certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
