App Store Optimisation Specialist

Job Title: App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist to own and improve the visibility, conversion rate, and organic downloads of our mobile applications across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This role requires a strong understanding of keyword optimization, store algorithms, competitor analysis, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ASO strategies to improve app rankings, visibility, and organic installs
  • Conduct keyword research and optimization for app titles, subtitles, descriptions, and metadata
  • Optimize app store listings including descriptions, screenshots, preview videos, and icons to improve conversion rates
  • Monitor and analyze app performance metrics such as impressions, installs, conversion rates, retention, and rankings
  • Run A/B tests on app store creatives and metadata to improve store performance
  • Track and respond to app reviews and ratings in coordination with relevant teams
  • Perform competitor analysis and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Stay up to date with App Store and Google Play algorithm changes and ASO best practices
  • Collaborate with product, design, marketing, and development teams to align ASO efforts with overall growth strategy
  • Prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an ASO Specialist or in a similar mobile growth role
  • Strong understanding of Apple App Store and Google Play Store ranking algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, App Annie, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize accordingly
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and conversion rate optimization
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics tools (Firebase, Appsflyer, Adjust, etc.)
  • Excellent written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with consumer-facing mobile apps
  • Knowledge of paid user acquisition and how it complements ASO
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles for app store creatives
  • Experience in international ASO and localization strategies
