We are looking for Apparel Sourcing Merchandisers for our Dubai Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors for raw materials, trims, and finished garments.
- Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms to meet company cost and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure timely sample development and approvals.
- Monitor and track production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay updated with trends, fabric innovations, and sourcing destinations.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with ethical and sustainability standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or merchandising in the apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment production, fabric types, and global sourcing markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising software/tools.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
