Application and Development Intern

About the role
We’re seeking an Applications & Development Intern interested in building practical skills in business systems, data/reporting, and light development work. You’ll support application administration and reporting efforts, with a focus on SQL, analytics, and system enhancement around our core tools (including NetSuite).

What you’ll do

• Write and improve SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and analytics
• Assist with building/maintaining dashboards and operational reports (KPIs, trends, exceptions)
• Support NetSuite-related tasks such as reporting, saved searches, troubleshooting, and data cleanup
• Work with JavaScript for light scripting, report automation, or integrations (where applicable)
• Document workflows, data definitions, and reporting logic so others can reuse and maintain it
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions

What we’re looking for

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in MIS, CS, Data Analytics, or similar
• Comfortable with SQL fundamentals (SELECTs, JOINs, grouping/aggregations)
• Interest in systems, business processes, and data quality
• Able to communicate clearly and translate “what the business wants” into requirements
• Organized and curious, with an eagerness to learn

Nice to have (not required)

• Exposure to NetSuite (saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteScript) or other ERPs
• JavaScript basics (functions, objects, debugging)
• Familiarity with Excel/Power BI/Tableau, APIs, or ETL concepts
