Application And Production Support Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Production Support Engineer to take ownership of open banking platform stability, incident resolution, and technical support operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting microservices-based architecture, coordinating across teams, and ensuring system uptime and compliance with banking standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant field
• Act as the primary production support engineer for Open Banking, including handling after-hours support.

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for Open Finance applications.

• Successfully resolve technical incidents raised by TPPs, PASPs, and in SAMA Confluence.

• Monitor system alerts, application logs, and performance metrics to detect issues and prevent service interruptions.

• Perform incident analysis, recovery, and validation, collaborating with development, middleware, and infrastructure teams.

• Facilitate communication between Business and APIC teams for production support and DR (Disaster Recovery) activities.

• Support integrations of microservices hosted on OpenShift and related clusters.

• Assist with technical development for Open Banking programs.

• Support deployments, maintenance of environments, and DR operations following approved change management processes.

• Ensure end-to-end application stability, adherence to bank security guidelines, and operational standards.

• Generate and manage monthly SAMA APIC reports.

• Maintain detailed runbooks, deployment records, readiness checklists, and contribute to continuous service reliability and automation improvements.
