Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Turbo Machinery Engineer with hands-on experience in Triconex safety and control systems to support the design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of rotating equipment and associated control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and control engineering, with a focus on high-performance turbomachinery such as compressors, turbines, and pumps.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain control systems for turbomachinery using Triconex platforms.

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on rotating equipment and control systems.

Collaborate with instrumentation, electrical, and process teams to ensure optimal machinery performance.

Support commissioning and startup activities for new installations and upgrades.

Develop and review technical documentation including P&IDs, control narratives, and logic diagrams.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and functional safety requirements (e.g., SIL ratings).

Provide technical support for machinery protection systems and emergency shutdown systems.

Participate in HAZOPs, risk assessments, and reliability studies.

Train operations and maintenance personnel on system functionality and best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of experience in turbomachinery engineering, with at least 2 years working with Triconex systems.

Strong understanding of rotating equipment dynamics, vibration analysis, and control logic.

Experience with control system integration, especially in hazardous or high-reliability environments.

Familiarity with industry standards such as API 617, API 670, and IEC 61508/61511.

Proficiency in software tools such as Triconex TriStation, vibration monitoring systems, and DCS/PLC platforms.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with compressors, steam/gas turbines, and centrifugal pumps.

Knowledge of functional safety lifecycle and SIS design.

Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, and historian systems.

Certifications in Triconex or functional safety (e.g., TÜV FS Engineer) are a plus.
