Application Development Officer

The Role
Application Development Officer – Qatar Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking an Application Development Officer with extensive Oracle E-Business Suite experience to be based in their office in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Serving as an Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS Techno-Functional Consultant, providing expert-level support, maintenance, development, and customisation for Oracle HRMS modules, including Payroll, Core HR, and Oracle Time and Labor • Assisting Payroll teams during monthly payroll runs, ensuring smooth execution payroll processes • Identifying and delivering quick resolutions to urgent payroll issues • Designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business functionality using Oracle E-Business Suite development tools and methodology • Ensuring compliance with data governance, security standards, and best practices in HRMS implementations and custom development • Supporting integration with other Oracle modules (Finance, SCM) and third-party systems • Providing training and knowledge transfer to the area concerned for customised solutions • Conducting extensive testing and quality checks on generated codes to uphold high standards of software development

Requirements
PROFILE • Degree qualification in Computer Engineering or similar subject • At least 8 years’ experience in a techno-functional role in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2.X HRMS (Core HR, Payroll, and OTL) module. This is essential • Substantial experience in OAF development, Oracle workflow, Fast Formula, XML Publisher, and Oracle PL/SQL • Experienced in customisation/extension of standard workflows, interfaces, self-services pages, personalisation, and good exposure to RICEW components • Any working knowledge of Oracle Apex Reports and Forms development, and/or Finance & SCM experience would be advantageous • Demonstrable history of creating technical design documentation, and executing test plans • Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask • Excellent communication skills in English, with any Arabic language skills an advantage
