Application Engineer

Job Title: Application EngineerRole Summary

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-implementation phase. You will analyze customer requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure that our products are integrated seamlessly into the client’s workflow. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Pre-Sales Support

• Design Engineering: Prepare detailed design calculations and technical specifications based on specific customer requirements and project site conditions.
• Equipment Selection: Lead the technical selection of equipment and components to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness for the client.
• Technical Submittals: Develop and compile comprehensive Technical Submittals for project approvals.
• Consultant Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for sales teams to address and resolve "comments" or "queries" raised by consultants regarding technical submittals.

2. Proposal & Inquiry Management

• Inquiry Tracking: Maintain and regularly update the Enquiry Register to ensure no lead is overlooked and lead times are tracked.
• Commercial Proposals: Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and ensure they are submitted to customers within the required deadlines.
• Approval Management: Maintain a centralized library of approval copies and updated lists of approved products/components.

3. Supply Chain & Order Management

• Order Execution: Release official orders to Principals (Manufacturers) for the production of items, ensuring all technical specs are clearly communicated.
• Production Follow-up: Proactively monitor and follow up on order status with Principals to ensure production timelines are met.
• Logistics Coordination: Ensure all necessary shipping documents are received and verified prior to shipment.
• Delivery Management: Coordinate seamlessly between the customer and the warehouse to facilitate the timely delivery of materials to project sites.

4. Reporting & Compliance

• Performance Metrics: Compile and submit Monthly KPI Reports to management, highlighting inquiry conversion rates, submittal approval status, and delivery timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain rigorous record-keeping of all technical data, correspondence, and project approvals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
