Application Engineer – High Frequency (Saudi National)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a High Frequency Application Engineer for our Riyadh/Dammam, KSA office. In this role, by using Ansys High Frequency products, you will:

• Function as a specialist in the use and application of Ansys High Frequency simulation tools (Ansys HFSS/SIwave)
• Support the sales team in the engagement with the Customers from technical point of view, participating in meetings, performing live presentations as well as demo cases, and developing case studies to show the Customers how the Ansys solutions can help them to improve their productivity and revenue
• Provide technical support and training for Customers in middle east region by responding to Customer inquiries, guiding them through challenging industrial applications and recommending the most appropriate simulation usage
• Carryout Consulting Projects for customers in the middle east area

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing best in class solutions involving communication with RF and Phased Array systems and collaborating with the cross regional and cross functional teams for developing suitable solutions.
• Work in Advanced technology areas such as 5G, Millimeter wave, communications and Radar Systems and collaborate with customers to have a footprint of Ansys in customer design process.
• Understand customer needs in Chip, Package and PCB designs involving Signal Integrity and Power Integrity and provide right methodologies with Ansys solutions to ensure customer success.
• Provide high-quality, efficient post-sales and technical support through email and telephone
• Develop technical support repositories that help Ansys customers to be more productive and efficient
• Create elegant and useful solutions to solve complex problems by working across various teams and understanding the needs of our customers
• Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations
• Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline Customer workflows, in support of the software sales process
• Develop, organize, and deliver introductory technical training courses on the use of ANSYS electromagnetic simulation products
• Participate in external and internal events to further enhance Ansys solution related to RF systems
• Sustain technical proficiency through ANSYS certifications and continual pursuit of personal, technical, and professional growth
• Participate in and support internal marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, education, and grow technical capacity

Requirements:

• Hold a B.Sc/Msc. (Eng) in Electrical Engineering /Electronics & Communication engineering
• Have a strong background in electromagnetic simulation domain
• Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software such as HFSS, SBR+, SIwave, Q3D Extractor and EMIT or knowledge of other commercial like ADS, SystemVue, Simulink, AWR, CST, FEKO software packages
• Experience in working with RF Link Budget Analysis and related Systems
• Knowledge of 5G system, Phased Array, Digital Beamforming, Microwave components, Communication and Radar system
• A thorough understanding of electronics devices and/or electrical system design and simulation, preferably with industry knowledge in one or more of the following applications:
  • PCB
  • SI/PI applications
  • RF applications
  • Antennas
  • EMC/EMI
  • Automotive electrical systems

• Have demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to Customers
• Have a logical problem-solving approach and the ability to communicate the situation and proposed solution to the Customer in a clear manner
• Possess a sense of urgency, dedication, and strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Have an engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
• Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
• Have the ability to travel up to 20%.
