Application Engineer Intern

The Applications Engineer Intern will assist the Application Engineers and Technician on all day-to-day business needs.

  • Assist in pre-sales support of existing and potential induction/industrial customers including but not limited to demos, trials, technical and sales presentations
  • Assist in customer’s equipment repairs.
  • Assistance with the gathering of equipment needed for exhibitions (i.e., trade shows)
  • Assist in the preparation and builds custom coils that meet customer specifications
  • Assist in repairs custom coils

Required Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of Electronics Theory and/or and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to work with others who may be included on the project to ensure it works properly

Education, Experience, and Knowledge


  • Attending an accredited University

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous mechanical, electrical and electronic manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Problem-solving skills to ensure any issues that arise during the design and testing processes are fixed
  • Record-keeping skills to track the development process

Working Conditions


This job operates primarily in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
