Application Engineer Internship

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering student to join our company that enables engineering breakthroughs for our customers. The primary purpose of this role is to be part of development of Motion System Group Europe sales and market share by participation on providing technical expertise support of industrial and mobile hydraulics and control systems. Together with the team of application engineers you will be designing, optimizing and commissioning applications for our customers and distributors. You will also closely cooperate with the sales teams and divisions to develop Parkers offer of products and systems.
We are searching for 2 students - 1st located in Turkey will be located in Istanbul, 2nd located in Czech Republic will be located in Prague.

You will support our Application engineers and sales team in:

• Leading and driving new trend markets, opportunities and projects relate to Electrification and Hydrogen
• Identifying and maintaining business and technical solutions and helping our customers optimizing their machines
• Working closely with our customers and build relationships, analyze needs and get understanding of the application to offer and the right technical solution
• Aligning customers’ expectations with Parker capabilities by gathering requirement specification and business case information
• Validating solutions on customers machines
• Effectively supporting key customer accounts in order to develop solutions for customer needs
• Technical consultancy and communication with customers in cooperation with Application Engineers from Manufacturing Divisions
• Leading or participating in cross organisational opportunities and prospects in Hydraulic and electro-mechanical control systems (Fluid Power)

We would like to hear from you if you are:

• Student of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Enginering, Mechatronics, Automation or similar.
• Motivated to work within the industrial or mobile market, machines and applications
• Motivated for electronic control systems
• Good in PC applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Dynamic, curious
• Proactive and willing to learn
• Have English on communicative level
