Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions. You will also engage in strategic planning sessions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that the applications developed meet both user needs and technical specifications. Your role will require you to balance technical oversight with team management, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of triage analysts and team leads, fostering technical growth and operational excellence. • Oversee end-to-end issue triage workflows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely escalation. • Drive systemic analysis of recurring issues, introducing automation and workflow optimizations. • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to resolve high-priority reliability and production issues. • Own and evolve SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge management assets. • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues spanning multiple platforms. Required Technical Expertise • Advanced debugging and log analysis (structured/unstructured logs, stack traces, crash logs). • Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python, Regex, JSON parsing), and use of monitoring/dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, New Relic). • Strong understanding of client-server architectures, APIs, and backend systems. • Expertise with software development workflows, bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.), and version control (Git). • Hands-on experience in hardware debugging (wearables, XR devices, sensors, device pairing, ADB). • Familiarity with GenAI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.), including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and troubleshooting failure modes. Preferred Technical Expertise • Experience triaging infrastructure or algorithmic issues (ranking, backend performance, reliability regressions). • Advanced proficiency in dashboard creation and workflow automation. • Understanding of A/B testing, experiment impacts, and rollback mechanisms. • Familiarity with gaming ecosystems (Unity, Unreal, physics engines, AR/VR SDKs). Leadership & Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder management across operations, engineering, and product. • Ability to synthesize complex technical findings into executive-level reporting. • Proven coaching and mentoring ability in high-performing technical teams.
