PURPOSE
According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and reporting to the VP, Information Technology, the Application Manager Yardi ERP role will serve as the technical owner of our Yardi Voyager and RentCafé platforms, overseeing system configuration, integrations, compliance, and performance. This role will lead a small team of Yardi analysts and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure the platform supports business needs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep Yardi expertise, strong SQL and integration skills, and a passion for process improvement and change management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the configuration, optimization, and support of Yardi Voyager and RentCafé platforms

Ensure system compliance with Affordable Housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, HOME, etc.)

Manage integrations between Yardi and other systems using SQL, APIs, and Microsoft Fabric

Oversee upgrades, patches, and new module implementations

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Yardi Business Analysts

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements & new Yardi Modules

Responsible for creating / maintaining National Church Residences’ Yardi Product Roadmap & release planning

Drive process improvement initiatives and lead change management efforts

Support reporting and analytics by ensuring data integrity and enabling BI tools

Coordinate level 2 support function (escalations from Level 1), including ticket resolution and metrics reporting

Own the system security design including permissions, menus, and security for Yardi Application, based on best practices and working directly with internal security team

Lead system testing and user acceptance testing for enhancements and releases

Serve as Level 2 escalation with Yardi Systems and third-party vendors for issue resolution and roadmap planning

Provide strategic direction, resource allocation, performance feedback, and career development support

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or aligned business experience
Experience:

Minium of 7 years of experience with Yardi Voyager and RentCafé

Proven experience implementing Yardi modules and managing ERP projects

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SSIS/SSRS, or similar data integration platforms
-
Demonstrated leadership experience managing application support or project teams
-
Experience in the Affordable Housing industry with knowledge of HUD/LIHTC compliance

Experience integrating Yardi data into analytics platforms like Power BI

Skills:
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills

Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Yardi database structure and reporting tools

Knowledge of additional Yardi modules (e.g., Maintenance IQ, PayScan, Construction Manager)

Solid understanding of property management and accounting workflows

Must have good working computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly.

Licensure:
- PMP, ITIL, or change management certifications (e.g., Prosci) (preferred)

Working Conditions: Office based. Due to occasional work in long term care facilities, exposure to some disagreeable conditions such as noise, odors, illness, infection and physical contact with disruptive residents.
