We are looking for Application Server and DevOps Engineer to manage our Application Servers and our on-premise cloud infrastructure and DevOps ecosystem on Redhat Openshift , Anthos and Open Source K8S with various tools.

About the Role

• Develop frameworks, techniques, and tools to provide increased quality and agility for our Development teams,
• Build infrastructure as code to create highly scalable and configurable environments,
• Develop pipelines for development, QA, operations, and other teams as needed,
• Responsible for installation, configuration, upgrades, and monitoring of application servers, on-premise cloud infrastructure, and non-cloud systems,
• Capacity planning, performance analysis, and incident management,
• Ensure maximum system availability and uptime for our IIS environments,
• Analyze and resolve issues related to servers, applications, and software,
• Design and develop platforms with a focus on automating processes using scripting languages and automation platforms,
• Understand disaster recovery and business continuity concepts,
• Use automation and configuration tools effectively,
• Understand application development lifecycles and continuous deployment tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of work experience required
• Experience with Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat,
• Experience with .Net runtime problem determination, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning,
• Experience with shell, Python, and PowerShell scripting and UNIX knowledge,
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and frameworks (such as JavaScript/.Net/Java),
• Knowledge of log aggregation solutions such as Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, K8s
• Knowledge of distributed messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Application Performance Management (APM) tools (Dynatrace)
• Knowledge of Network and Security Virtualization Platforms,
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills,
• Proactive, analytical thinker, strong team player, motivated and result-oriented personality,
• Good understanding of DevOps tools and culture,
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines,
• Experience with containerizing and orchestrating Docker (preferably with Kubernetes)
• Eager to be part of a team to support the DevOps ecosystem
