***$17.00/hour starting pay – Eligible for Bonuses based on hours worked***
***Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm **
The Application Specialist provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by professionally answering calls about telephonic applications for public assistance programs.

Answers telephone inquiries and responds to citizen inquiries related to the services they wish to apply for or are currently receiving

Accepts telephonic applications for public assistance programs

Screens applicants to determine if active case exists or application is pending

Uses multiple complex computer systems to research, validate, update, and maintain case information

Provides information to callers, including rights and responsibilities

Maintains accurate files, records, and reports to document communication, compliance, and resolution of issue

Regular and timely attendance

Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent

Customer service experience preferably in a call center environment

Data entry and typing experience. Must be able to type at least 20 WPM
