Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications software.

Support and maintain computer hardware and software.

Resolve first level technical problems with the Local Area Network (LAN).

Handle Help Desk requests. Identify patterns of failure, research bug fixes, implement solutions and document resolutions.

Respond to callouts within an agreed timeline.

Troubleshoot software and hardware problems in computer equipment and solve them.

Assist in monitoring the performance of the university's hardware and recommend solutions for improving efficiency.

Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of PCs and peripherals.

Install, and support all the computer equipment in the computer labs.

Organize and conduct training for faculty and staff on specific software, instructional software, office systems, analytical packages and MIS.

Keep track of all IT assets such as Hardware & Software and License compliance through the system and regularly update, with regards to consumer policies; as well as regulate claim handling.

Manage stock of equipment, consumables and other supplies.

Support the IT requirements for all DAH events.

Effectively cooperate in applying change related to future trends.
