Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Application Support Engineer to provide technical and operational support for business-critical applications and banking/transaction systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, supporting deployments, and coordinating with development and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for production systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.
• Perform SIT/UAT testing and assist in production deployments.
• Maintain and monitor scheduled jobs and system processes.
• Support PR and DR environments for applications.
• Coordinate with development teams and external vendors for issue resolution.
• Analyze logs and system data to identify root causes of incidents.
• Execute SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Provide support for ATM, POS, mobile banking, and transaction systems (if applicable).
• Assist business users with application-related issues.
• Ensure system availability and operational continuity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
