Application Support Engineer Microsoft 1-3 years experience - .NET & SQL SERVER = L2 with 1-3 Years (Male)

A role as a .NET SQL Server Support Engineer L2 typically involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications built using .NET technologies and SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to .NET applications and SQL Server databases.
  • Respond to and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to Level 1 support engineers.
  • Application and Database Management:
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and health of .NET applications and SQL Server databases.
  • Assist in database backups, restorations, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Optimize SQL queries and perform database tuning to improve performance.
  • Problem Analysis:
  • Analyze logs, identify root causes of issues, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address bugs and improve application functionality.
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve application and database problems.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Generate reports on application performance, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders.
  • Document standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and suggest improvements to processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in .NET and SQL Server technologies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in .NET framework (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET).
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSMS, and database design.
  • Understanding of application performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with debugging and performance profiling tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in supporting .NET applications and SQL Server environments.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and ITSM tools
  • Experience with Dev-Ops Process for release and patch management will be added advantages .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
