Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to .NET applications and SQL Server databases.
- Respond to and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to Level 1 support engineers.
- Application and Database Management:
- Monitor and maintain the performance and health of .NET applications and SQL Server databases.
- Assist in database backups, restorations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Optimize SQL queries and perform database tuning to improve performance.
- Problem Analysis:
- Analyze logs, identify root causes of issues, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to address bugs and improve application functionality.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve application and database problems.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system changes.
- Generate reports on application performance, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders.
- Document standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and suggest improvements to processes, tools, and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in .NET and SQL Server technologies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET framework (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET).
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSMS, and database design.
- Understanding of application performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with debugging and performance profiling tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Customer-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in supporting .NET applications and SQL Server environments.
- Experience with support ticketing systems and ITSM tools
- Experience with Dev-Ops Process for release and patch management will be added advantages .
