Application Support Specialist

The application support specialist provides first-line support, administration, and user support and enablement for cloud-based business applications across the organization, with a primary focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role ensures that business-critical applications remain reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with operational needs.

Operational

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as the initial point of contact (Tier 1) for user issues across business applications.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document incidents and service requests, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure timely resolution and clear communication with end users.

Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Administration

  • Create and customize SharePoint sites based on business requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day support and configuration assistance across Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Forms, OneDrive, and Outlook.
  • Manage permissions, access, and basic governance.

User Enablement & Training

  • Deliver IT system orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Develop training manuals, SOPs, and user documentation.
  • Conduct internal technical and functional training sessions when required.

Business Applications Support

  • Provide technical and functional support for platforms such as Sleekflow and ClickDimensions.
  • Perform data imports and basic data handling within supported systems.

Cloud Platforms & System Administration

  • Manage admin access and basic configuration for platforms such as Hostinger, Cloudflare, Sleekflow, Google Analytics, Adobe, and related systems.
  • Support domain, SSL, and web-related configurations in coordination with vendors.

Onboarding & Offboarding Support

  • Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding activities with internal teams and partners.
  • Ensure proper access provisioning and deprovisioning across systems.

Education

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a business applications support role.
