Job Purpose
The Application Support Technical lead act as application owner for Applications under his supervision and leads all technical activities managed by subordinates to ensure service delivery and successful implementations and upgrades.
Description
1. Leads technical activities for Financial and non-Financial, (IBM Archiving solution) Business Applications delivered by 3rd party/Vendors/Built In-House
2. Act as application owner and totally responsible on the technical part for the application he manages
3. Monitor and Analyze Banking applications performance to enhance and support Business Process for specific Business Domain
4. Investigate any errors on Application that may be related to severs or databases by the needed view access as first layer who are accountable on the application readiness
5. Raise any HW or DB related issues to concerned team
6. Evaluate, Implement, administer, and tune Banking applications
7. Manage relationship with 3rd party Application Suppliers and meet established Service Level Agreements.
8. Coordinate with IT Architecture, Demand Management, PM and QA teams during project planning and execution related to all Banking Applications.
9. Implement changes related to the applications and engage other resources if needed
10. Implement data protection policies and compliance policies related to Banking applications and coordinate with IT Security
11. Analyze problems related to Supported banking applications and coordinate with designated vendors
12. Cooperate with application developers in web interfaces related to different applications.
13. Support development teams during implementation and transfer business knowledge.
14. Analysis of new releases of 3rd party applications
15. Policies, Processes & Procedures
Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
16. Day-to-day Operations
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work
17. Compliance
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal AAIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain AAIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
