Job Purpose
Responsible for applying automotive window films and paint protection films with precision and care, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer and company standards, and requires attention to detail, technical skills, and knowledge of film application techniques to protect and enhance vehicle appearance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Measure, cut, and apply window tint films on car windows, ensuring a clean and bubble-free finish.
- Apply paint protection film (PPF) on vehicles to safeguard against scratches, chips, and environmental damage.
- Inspect vehicles before and after application to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Use proper tools and techniques to achieve a seamless application without defects.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop and equipment.
- Follow safety standards and manufacturer guidelines for handling films and chemicals.
- Advise customers on film options, benefits, and maintenance care.
- Perform minor film removals or corrections when required.
- Work collaboratively with the detailing team and report to the Workshop/Service Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Education - High School level
- Years of experience - 2 to 5 years
- Installing PPF on vehicle panels (full body / partial)
- Cutting and fitting film accurately
- Heat application and edge finishing
- Removing air bubbles and wrinkles
- Quality inspection after installation
