Appointed Person for Liftng Operations (APLO)

Falcon Middle East General Contracting & Maintenance Co. is a leading contracting company based in Abu Dhabi. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and certified Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (APLO) to join our Operations Department.

Position Overview

The APLO (Appointed Person for Lifting Operations – Electrical Equipment) will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring the safe execution of lifting operations related to electrical equipment such as transformers, TRMs, QRMs, and cable drums. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and strict adherence to safety standards.

Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years in electrical work, including lifting operations for electrical equipment.

Certification:

LEEA certificate is mandatory.

TAQA approval as an appointed person is an advantage.

Driving License: Valid UAE driving license required.

Skills: Strong understanding of lifting plans, risk assessments, and coordination with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise all lifting operations involving electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with lifting procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

Prepare risk assessments and lifting plans for high-risk and complex operations.

Coordinate with engineers, crane operators, and rigging teams to ensure safe execution.

Report and resolve any non-conformities or incidents promptly.
