About Team:
The apprentice will join the Product Management group of the Office of the CIO.
The mission of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) is to deliver innovative, secure, and efficient technology solutions that simplify business processes, empower teams, and accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments to patients while creating lasting value for all stakeholders.
The Product Management team works on innovative IT solutions for Marketing and Sales operations in life sciences, collaborating globally to deliver impactful results. The key suppliers of technology for us are AI/ML team and Microsoft Copilot team, as well as external vendors.
Apprenticeship Summary:
The Apprentice participates in and executes the entry level department functions (OCIO). They will:
Collaborate with global colleagues from Marketing and Commercial on initiatives in the life sciences sector.
Support AI/ML projects within the Product Management team, from Discovery (User requirements) through Development (Agile/Vendors) right to Deployment (Azure DevOps)
Participate in remote work during second shift hours (2–11 PM IST).
Assist in project documentation and reporting as required.
Engage in training and development activities as part of the apprentice program
Gain exposure to critical business functions and learn how technology drives success in clinical research.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Education:
Engineering degree preferred.
Some exposure to life sciences or statistics is desirable
Skills:
Motivated problem-solver and creative thinker.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, global team.
Strong communication skills + ability to work with business / discuss complex areas
Strong interest in AI/ML and healthcare innovation – both in development of AI/ML models and no code tools based on MS Copilot.
Fascination with Agile Ways of Working, preferably with current or upcoming certification
Practical knowledge of Azure technologies, including but not limited to, Power Platform and Azure DevOps.
General understanding of IT tools used in Marketing (websites, marketing automation) and Sales (CRM)
