The Apprentice-Line position performs work under the direction of a Journeyman Line Technician or Service Technician and while under proper supervision, performs all the duties of a Line Technician which he/she is qualified to do. Apprentices are required to successfully complete the company’s 4-year Apprentice Program and may be required to work extended hours in inclement weather, may be required to travel throughout the company’s service territory in cases of emergencies (i.e. storms), to restore the electrical distribution system. Must have or be able to obtain a CDL Class A license within six months.
