Apprentice Plumbing Technician

Description:

Freeline Plumbing is looking for a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Plumbing Technician / Helper to assist our Service Technicians in the field while learning the plumbing trade hands-on. This is a great opportunity for someone who is still in school, changing careers, or looking to start a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

No plumbing license or certification is required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Basic experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, automotive, or other mechanical work is a plus.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Technicians with plumbing repairs, installations, and diagnostics
• Help load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials
• Perform and assist with 5-Point Plumbing Inspections alongside the technician
• Place yard signs, door hangers, flyers, and marketing materials in neighborhoods after service calls
• Help maintain clean and organized service vehicles
• Take photos and videos of technicians, completed work, and jobsite activities for social media and marketing purposes
• Support technicians with customer communication and professionalism on-site
• Learn plumbing systems, tools, safety procedures, and company processes
• Assist with shop cleanup, inventory organization, and preparation for the next workday
• Follow company standards, safety policies, and procedures

Qualifications

• No certification or license required
• Must be willing to learn and grow in the trade
• Career shifters, and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply
• Some experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, automotive, maintenance, construction, or mechanical work is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in different weather conditions
• Good attitude, reliability, and professionalism
• Comfortable using smartphones and tablet for photos, videos, and communication
• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required
