Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Approvals Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and obtaining all necessary authority approvals for engineering and construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full approval process with government authorities and stakeholders
• Prepare and submit drawings, documents, and technical reports for authority approvals
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project managers
• Ensure compliance with UAE local regulations and authority requirements
• Track approval status and maintain approval logs
• Liaise with authorities such as:
• Abu Dhabi Municipality
• Department of Municipalities and Transport
• Abu Dhabi Civil Defence
• Abu Dhabi Distribution Company
• Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in approvals/authority coordination in UAE
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority regulations and submission procedures
• Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with government portals and online submission systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
