Job Title: Self-Employed Electrical Tester – EICRs & Remedial Works (Telecoms)

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Tester to join our growing team on a self-employed basis. The role involves carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial works on telecoms infrastructure across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tester who is confident working independently and is comfortable using technology to complete and submit documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform EICRs on telecoms sites and related infrastructure.
• Carry out remedial electrical work as identified in reports.
• Submit clear, accurate reports using internal Excel-based systems.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and H&S standards.
• Work independently and manage daily job schedules efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection.
• 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the telecoms industry is highly desirable.
• RF (Radio Frequency) Awareness training and First Aid at Work are strong advantages.
• Strong IT skills – must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and digital systems.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have own tools/transport.
• Self-motivated, professional, and able to work unsupervised.
• 18th Edition
• Available and happy to complete health and safety training if required.
