Description:
Full-time APRN/PA needed to join our Cardiology physicians in an established Cardiology practice. Work schedule being 4 days a week Outpatient and 1 weekend per month Inpatient.
- Previous experience as a nurse practitioner in an outpatient Cardiology office is preferred. Important skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Job Duties Include:

Provide comprehensive healthcare to adult patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests

Complete history & physical examinations, document exam results, record progress notes, and provide continuity of care

Write orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids

May diagnose and manage acute episodic and chronic illnesses, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, pacemaker & defibrillator follow-up interpretation, and preliminary interpretation of EKGs with Physician overread.

May order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic and lab tests, and prescribe pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic therapies.

Requirements:
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program or Master of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from accredited program.
Qualifications:

CPR/BLS certification is required

Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required

Strong clinical skills with commitment to patient-centered care.

Board Certified through AANP or NCCPA

Credentialing with appropriate facilities must be received prior to performing patient care.
