AR Acountant

Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant
Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Manager / Accounting Manager

The AR Accountant is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, monitoring customer accounts, and supporting the company’s cash flow through timely collections.

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• Communicate with clients regarding payment status and discrepancies
• Record and reconcile incoming payments (bank transfers, checks, cash, etc.)
• Maintain accurate customer account records
• Prepare AR reports and aging analysis
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations regarding billing issues
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Support month-end closing activities related to AR
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role

Good knowledge of accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with ERP systems is a plus

Strong communication and follow-up skills

Attention to detail and accuracy
