Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Arabic Accountant to join our auditing team. The ideal candidate will handle the full spectrum of accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to UAE regulations.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of Corporate Tax, VAT, and Financial Statements.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit assigned client sites weekly to perform and supervise day-to-day bookkeeping activities.

Manage bookkeeping for multiple client entities, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll (if applicable), and journal entries.

Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balances, and management reports; ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls; assess risk and propose process improvements.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Risk Assessment. required

Attend client meetings and internal meetings, present findings, recommendations, and status updates.

Coordinate with auditors, tax professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure data readiness for audits.

Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, zoho, odoo ) and advanced Excel skills; ensure data integrity and backups.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies, including confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications & Requirements:

candidate has prior experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Risk Assessment.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA / CMA is an advantage).

Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Auditing experience is required.

Strong knowledge of Auditing, Bookkeeping, Corporate Tax, VAT, and IFRS.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems).

Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English. (Arabic is Required)

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Valid UAE Driving license is required
