IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:


·  Responsible for creating, writing, editing and developing written collaterals on behalf of BLJ’s client.

• Write, edit, and deliver requested content on time, within tight deadlines, and to a high standard or minimal editing.

• Ability to adapt to client’s style and requirements is necessary as in a flexible, can-do attitude when dealing with last-minute requests from staff members.

• Fully develop content that captures the client's brand voice and aligns with their overall strategy, using culturally relevant language that is distinct and harmonious with the visual elements.

• Generate and execute creative ideas across various platforms, bringing them to life in compelling ways.

• Assist in the creation of additional material, which includes developing brand personas and defining brand voice and tone for clients.

• Collaborate with team members to create engaging social content, copy, and editorial calendars that align with client needs, contributing to the conceptual and direction for assigned accounts at both the day-to-day and strategic levels.

• Coordinate closely with the wider team on business proposals.

• Fulfill additional duties and assume project management responsibilities as assigned.

• Develop content that is aligned with your client’s objectives and goals, and directed properly at the audience.

• Follow your client’s brand tone of voice.

• Write and review copies of press releases, speeches, documents, technical sheets, project timelines, presentations, work plans, strategies, frameworks and more.

• Contribute to project-specific communication efforts, including development material, editing, and information dissemination, while ensuring consistency with the project objectives, client expectations and project identity standards.

• Be accurate and produce quality content.

• Collaborate with team members and the wider team to curate and create compelling content and ideas while researching your audience.

• Develop and implement quality assurance standard processes for materials and development.

• Provide feedback to team members on written material and input.

• Streamline processes for writers and develop templates that are easy to adapt and apply to use.

• Write, edit, and proofread PR material for publications, campaigns, and advertisements.

• Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form, ability to write and edit language or terminology to meet the needs of the request or as suitable, ability to use correct grammar, organization, and structure.

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial and material files.

• Computer skills, including the ability to operate software including MS Office Suite to create spreadsheets, compose messages, handle databases, PowerPoint presentations, reports, and documents, as well as project management software.

• Effective written communication skills.

• Clerical support to ensure that PR materials are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.

• Write and editing of transcripts.

• Capable of writing, editing and updating press releases, outhouse magazines, features, brochures, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals/magazines/newsletters, reports, publicity/informational brochures, information for websites and texts/audio contents for promotional/motivational/encouraging videos.



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in literature, communications, journalism, international relations, political science, English, or other related disciplines.

· Arabic language skills will be highly regarded.

· 5+  years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region.

· Extensive experience in writing, editing and communications.

· Highly skilled in managing teams, workload, and workflow.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills.

· Arabic and English language proficiency.
