Arabic Coordinator

Job Summary

The Arabic Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high-quality Arabic language teaching across the school in line with the Doha Academy curriculum and educational standards. The role involves overseeing curriculum planning, ensuring consistency in teaching and assessment practices, and supporting Arabic teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

The Arabic Coordinator will play a key role in monitoring student progress, driving improvements in Arabic language attainment, and promoting excellence in teaching and learning. The role also includes contributing to whole-school initiatives, pastoral support, staff development, and maintaining strong communication with parents and school leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of the Arabic curriculum across the school.
  • Support teachers in planning, delivering, and improving Arabic lessons.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement in Arabic.
  • Ensure consistency in assessment, marking, and reporting practices.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional support to Arabic teachers.
  • Develop and review schemes of work and teaching resources.
  • Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and other departments to improve outcomes.
  • Conduct lesson observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school development plans.
  • Support pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
  • Lead Arabic-related events, enrichment activities, and school initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of School or Senior Leadership Team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR9,000.00 per month
