What's happening?

We're looking for a Copywriter / Editor with proven skills when it comes to creating written content for clients in various sectors, and for different purposes (both external and internal). You're a strong team player with excellent English writing and communications skills and possess an ability to translate client needs and develop it into content that meets the related objective. You are able to do effective online research looking for relevant, recent supporting data, and have a knack for quickly getting to the core of the main message. You can scan through long documents and reports to extract what's relevant and repurpose existing approved content by blending this with the latest data and news. Your work directly impacts the success of PR campaigns by driving engagement and delivering on KPIs.

Content Planning and Development
  • Develop content and generate ideas that can drive digital/social media and PR campaign success.
  • Take a client brief, or help develop a client brief, to develop a range of content.
Deliverables
  • Long-form PR content - briefing documents for media interviews, panel sessions and fireside chats, Q&A features, perspective pieces, bylines, keynote speeches.
  • Medium-form - press releases, bios, speaker session outlines, advertorials.
  • Short-form PR content - ad hoc quotes for independent news features and social media posts, including thought leadership posts on LinkedIn.
  • Take a lead role to ensure that deliverables are met on time.
Industry and Market Knowledge
  • Maintain a high understanding of client's business and work to create a good knowledge of developments and trends affecting the client's industry.
Account Team Management
  • Contribute guidance and ideas for the account teams to implement and develop client work.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, preferably with a reputed communications agency.
  • Strong English content mandatory.
  • Well-rounded communication skills, a strong ability to write both short and long form content.
  • Agency background preferred.
