Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Receptionist to join our medical center in Abu Dhabi. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience. You will manage patient appointments, handle insurance verifications, and provide administrative support to doctors and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors professionally and assist them with registration forms.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using the clinic's software.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary approvals/authorizations prior to treatment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all medical records (EMR) are updated accurately.
  • Collect co-payments and handle billing/invoicing processes.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries via WhatsApp/Email, and manage the waiting area flow.
  • Coordinate with the nursing staff and doctors to ensure smooth patient turnover.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or Medical Administration certification is a plus.
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a customer service role within the healthcare sector in UAE.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with medical insurance portals (e.g., Shafafiya) and Appointment Scheduling Software.
  • Attributes: Empathy, patience, ability to handle stressful situations, and strong attention to detail.
