AR/AP Data Clerk

Job Summary

NexGen Trucking Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented AR/AP Data Clerk to support our trucking operations by maintaining accurate driver payroll records, organizing transportation documentation, and ensuring all required paperwork is received and processed on time. This position plays a key role in supporting payroll accuracy, billing, and daily operational reporting.

Responsibilities

Process and maintain daily driver payroll records by entering load information into Excel.
Record and verify driver hours, broker information, container/load numbers, pickup and delivery locations, driver pay rates, and customer billing rates.
Ensure all driver payroll data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
Pick up driver paperwork from the designated company location and organize all documentation by week for payroll processing and recordkeeping.
Scan, file, and maintain Proofs of Delivery (PODs), delivery tickets, and other transportation documents.
Monitor and track missing driver paperwork and prepare a daily report for management identifying outstanding documentation.
Maintain organized payroll and operational records to support payroll processing.
Communicate with drivers and management regarding missing or incomplete paperwork.
Perform additional administrative and payroll support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in payroll support, transportation, logistics, accounting, or administrative operations preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience in the trucking or transportation industry is a plus.
