Ravago Petrochemical Production

Ravago Petrochemical Production is one of Turkey’s leading polymer and chemical manufacturers under the Ravago Türkiye Group. With production facilities in Gebze (Taysad) and Aliağa (Eastchem, Enplast, and Recycle), the company produces a wide range of high-quality materials including TPE, engineering plastics, TPU systems, and recycled polymers.

We are looking for a R&D Specialist to join Ravago R&D Center at our Gebze plant.

Desired Qualifications:

• BSc degree in Engineering preferably in Chemical Engineering, Materials & Metallurgical Engineering, Polymer Science and Technology,
• Fluency in English,
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
• Minimum 3 years related experience,
• Strong communication, planning, organizational skills,
• Problem solving competency, target oriented thinking,
• Willingness to work in various research - development areas
• Preferably resident in Kocaeli (Gebze, Çayırova) or Istanbul Asian side-the work location will be Taysad Çayırova.

What We Expect from You:

• Being responsible for national/international projects for thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) R&D Business Unit,
• Carrying out the projects with new raw materials, new formulations, reactions, compounds and chemical additives,
• Collecting R&D ideas/project proposals and conducting feasibility studies,
• Coordinating the collaboration projects,
• Working in close cooperation with manufacturing, marketing, sales and purchasing departments,
• Following market trends and participating in market research activities in various areas,
• Following R&D related laws, legislation, fundings and grants,
• Preparing presentations and sectoral analysis to support R&D activities.
