Architect

Purpose of the Job:

The Architect will be responsible for delivering architectural design plans and developing layouts for buildings and landscapes. The role involves working under the direct supervision of Senior Architects and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. He/She will interact with other architects and designers to exchange ideas and provide technical support, and will coordinate with engineers, contractors, administrators, and management regarding project programming, planning, design development, and construction progress. The role also includes resolving design and construction-related issues, providing technical direction as required, and managing team members assigned to the project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Should be able to manage entire project and manage his team mates.
• Prepare designs for assigned new projects
• Review design to ensure that they meet standards, support users’ needs, and comply with codes.
• Meet with engineers, contractors, administrators and management regarding project programming, planning and design development requirements, and construction progress; resolve issues and provide direction on design and construction matters.
• Analyze space utilization and requirements as needed.
• Prepare presentation materials and documentation project updates
• Knowledgeable enough to tackle site constraints.
• Proficient in Revit Modelling and Designing will be a plus.

Job Specific Skills:

• Strong command over architectural design, detailing, and planning for high-rise and mixed-use developments.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, fire and life safety standards, and local authority regulations.
• Proficiency in developing detailed construction documentation and tender packages.
• Skilled in façade design, core planning, and integration of structural and MEP systems.
• Experience in value engineering, design optimization, and technical review processes.
• Leading the design process from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinating with structural, MEP, and façade consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Managing design revisions, approvals, and client/consultant correspondence.
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups.
• Providing technical support to site teams during execution and resolving design issues.
• Overseeing quality control of design deliverables to maintain consistency and compliance.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s in Architecture, Design

Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience (preferably in designing multi-story commercial and residential projects)
• PCATCP registered
