Job description:

A Civil Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the construction of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role combines architectural creativity with civil engineering fundamentals to ensure structural safety, functionality, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance.

This position demands strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable designs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Planning & Design

• Prepare architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Develop 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate structural, electrical, and plumbing drawings with respective teams.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

• Visit construction sites to monitor progress and quality.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Resolve on-site design or structural issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.

3. Project Coordination

• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
• Support cost estimation and budgeting activities.
• Review contractor bills and ensure cost control.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure timely completion.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare documentation for approvals from local authorities.
• Ensure adherence to safety norms and environmental standards.
• Maintain project reports and design revisions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3Ds Max (preferred)
• Understanding of structural basics and site execution
• BOQ preparation and cost estimation knowledge
• Good communication and coordination skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
