We are looking for a Telecom Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:
Start Date: June 2026 (tentative)
Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Work status: Resident, Single
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant telecom engineering experience in oil & gas projects.

Mandatory experience in:

FEED Engineering
-
Detailed Design Engineering
-
Gas Compression Projects
-
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards related to telecom systems.

Experience with EPC/EPCM engineering projects preferred.
-
ADNOC project experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Good coordination, communication, and technical reporting skills.
-
Knowledge of telecom system integration with ICSS/SCADA systems.
-
Familiarity with hazardous area requirements and oil & gas industry practices.

Experience with engineering software and telecom design tools.
ACTIVITIES
- Perform FEED, detailed design, and engineering activities for telecom systems in oil & gas projects.

Prepare and review telecom engineering deliverables including:

Telecom system architecture

Data sheets

Material requisitions

Specifications
-
Layout drawings
-
Block diagrams
-
Cable schedules
-
Installation details
-
Design and engineer telecom systems such as:

CCTV Systems
-
Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA)

Telephone Systems
-
Fiber Optic Networks
-
Radio Communication Systems
-
Structured Cabling Systems
-
Access Control Systems
-
LAN/WAN Networks
-
Microwave / Wireless Systems
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, and HSE disciplines.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical meetings.

Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
-
Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors during project execution.

Ensure telecom engineering deliverables are completed within schedule and quality requirements.
