Senior Signalling Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Signalling Commissioning Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Abu Dhabi UAE

Experience Requirements and Qualifications required:

• Total Experience Required: Typically, 5 to 10+ years
• Relevant Experience Required: Proven testing and commissioning experience in the railway or transit domain
• Industry-Specific Experience: Specifically with signalling equipment (track circuits, point machines, signals, and Interlocking)
• Minimum Qualification Required: A Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Electronics, Railway Systems, or a related technical discipline

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute testing and commissioning activities for railway signalling systems from the installation phase through to revenue operation.
• Prepare test procedures, method statements, and commissioning reports in compliance with company and industry guidelines.
• Analyse and resolve system malfunctions and disturbances, developing action plans to meet system performance targets.
• Liaise with technical project managers, system engineers, and customers to ensure readiness reviews are conducted and corrective actions are tracked.
• Ensure all on-site testing activities adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

Technical & Domain Skills:

• Hands-on experience with testing equipment (e.g., multi meters, scope meters).
• Reading electrical circuit drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Preferred Skills: Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the project's migration phases.
