The Role
Job Title: Architect Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Job Objective The Architect is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing building designs from concept through construction. The role ensures design quality, regulatory compliance, cost control, and timely project delivery while maintaining alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities • Manage architectural design projects from concept development to completion. • Prepare drawings, specifications, blueprints, and construction documentation. • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments. • Develop project proposals, preliminary cost estimates, and timelines. • Coordinate architectural details including specifications, dimensions, schedules, and scope. • Participate in developing design briefs, standards, and space programs. • Review consultants’ scopes of work, tender documents, and design submissions to ensure alignment with project intent. • Provide technical responses and support during various construction phases. • Prepare subcontractor work packages and contracts where required. • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. • Liaise with consultants, contractors, surveyors, and internal stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with RMCM, AMANAH, MOT, and other relevant authority regulations within the Makkah region. • Prepare technical reports and project summaries for management.

Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. • 5–8 years of relevant experience in architectural design, consultancy, and project management. • Strong experience in hospitality projects and regulatory compliance. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM knowledge preferred). • Solid understanding of Saudi authority regulations and design standards. • Experience in reviewing consultant designs and managing multidisciplinary coordination. • Fluent in English and Arabic. • Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers). Skills & Competencies • Strong design management and problem-solving abilities. • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. • Effective communicator with stakeholder management capability. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach.
