Job Title: Architect (Authority) - AOR

Location: Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Sharjah

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) required.
• Preferred: BIM certification, LEED, or Al Sa'fat accreditation.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Dubai projects, including BIM-mandated submissions and sustainability compliance.
• Proven track record in authority liaison and approvals across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other emirates.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Software Proficiency: Advanced in Revit Architecture (BIM-compliant), AutoCAD, Navisworks, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), MS Office. Familiarity with AI-driven design tools, VR/AR software, and sustainability assessment tools (Al Sa'fat, EDGE).
• Analytical & Organizational: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation skills, and proficiency in project management tools (Celoxis or equivalent).
• Creative Thinking: Design thinker with innovative approach to AI/VR-enabled workflows and green building compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage authority approvals, including exception requests, through digital submission portals (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, DMT).
• Lead preparation and review of authority submissions, IFC-compliant BIM models, and green building certifications.
• Conduct design reviews, site inspections, and authority meetings using AI/VR tools.
• Support design teams with Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and Construction Documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Keep updated on laws, green building regulations, and BIM mandates; train and mentor junior Architects/Engineers.
• Contribute to company-wide initiatives such as Data Insights, Lessons Learnt Database, and authority process automation.

Regulatory Knowledge Required:

• Dubai Laws No. 6 & 7 of 2025, BIM mandates for high-rise/large buildings
• Al Sa'fat and Dubai Green Building Regulations 2025
• Decree No. 24 of 2021 on 3D printing in construction

Other Requirements:

• Valid driving license for site visits.
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills for handling regulatory exceptions.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

• Analytical mindset, problem-solving, planning and organization, innovation-driven, adaptable to AI/VR integration.
