Job Overview

The Architect will be responsible for developing and managing architectural designs from concept through to completion, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring authority compliance, and providing technical support during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand requirements and translate their vision into creative, functional, and compliant design solutions.
• Design & Development: Prepare concept, schematic, and detailed designs, including 3D visualisations, renderings, and presentations.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with structural, MEP, QS, and ID teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Authority Submissions: Prepare and submit architectural and engineering drawings to Dubai authorities (DM, Trakhees, Nakheel, Meraas, DEWA, DCD, etc.) for approvals.
• Technical Support: Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, material submittals, and provide clarifications.
• Site Involvement: Conduct occasional site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Documentation & Proposals: Assist with feasibility studies, design reports, and project proposals.
• Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior architects and draftsmen, promoting innovation and technical excellence within the team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 4–6 years as an Architect in Dubai, preferably within a consulting firm environment.
• Certification: Must hold Dubai Municipality G+4 license and SOE membership (mandatory).
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3DS Max, V-Ray, Corona, and other relevant rendering/design tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methods, structural and MEP integration, and authority regulations.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is an advantage).

• Salary: AED 7,000 – AED 10,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Location: Dubai, UAE (candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate before joining)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an engineering consulting firm (required)
• License/Certification: DM G+4 certification (required)
