Architect Engineer – High-Rise Building Project

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Architect Engineer with proven experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for managing architectural design, coordination, and site execution while ensuring compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical

• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop and review concept, schematic, and detailed designs for high-rise buildings.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DDA, and other UAE regulations.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, and interior design teams.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend and contribute to design and coordination meetings.
• Ensure alignment between design intent and site execution.

Site Supervision

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
• Resolve architectural and finishing-related issues on site.
• Monitor quality of finishes and workmanship standards.
• Review and approve mock-ups and samples.

Authority Approvals

• Manage submissions and approvals with:
• Dubai Municipality
• Trakhees
• Dubai Development Authority (DDA)
• Other relevant authorities
• Ensure all approvals are obtained in line with project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong experience within UAE or GCC projects is required.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• Revit (BIM)
• SketchUp / 3D tools
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE building codes and standards
• Shop drawing review process
• Construction detailing and materials

Preferred Requirements

• UAE driving license
• Experience working with developers, consultants, or main contractors
• Membership in a professional body is an advantage
